To Our Valued Patients,
At SummerHills Dental, we strive to take care of our patients, family and friends accompanying patients to the office, and our team members. Health and safety remain our highest priority especially in light of the current situation. According to the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low.
Rest assured - we have always used the highest level of sterilization and sanitation. In addition to our standard protocols for infection control set forth by the Federal Center for Disease Control, we have implemented additional procedures in the interest of our customers and employees.
-We will be allowing only patients and necessary drivers into the office.
-Please knock on the front door or call the office to notify us of your arrival.
-Patients are asked to wash their hands for 20 seconds as soon as they enter the office.
-Patients temperatures will be taken before entering the office.
-Patients with symptoms of cough, fever, of difficulty breathing will be rescheduled.
We are asking you to please contact us and reschedule an appointment if you have a fever, cough or other coronavirus specific symptoms. We want to keep our patients, our team and their families safe and healthy. The short notice cancellation policy of SummerHills Dental will be waived if you are truly presenting with any symptoms and have to cancel. We pride ourselves in being a friendly-family oriented practice; however, we will be eliminating contact such as handshakes or hugs other than treatment performed in a sterile field with gloves.
In addition to our standard cleaning procedures both in the sterilization and operatories, we are sanitizing high-traffic public areas at an increased frequency.
-Hand sanitizers are readily available and are checked regularly.
-Public touch points, such as arm rests, chairs, check-in and check-out desk countertops, pens, door handles and knobs are cleaned multiple times a day.
-All employees are restricted from reporting to work if they experience any illness or symptoms of coronavirus.
We encourage anyone seeking further information on COVID-19 to visit the recently created NV Health Response website or the websites for the Centers for Disease Control or the World Health Organization. We will remain attentive and are prepared to respond to changing conditions.
Thank you for your patience and trust in SummerHills Dental.
